Do you have any advice for candidates with quite a moderate stammer when applying for graduate programmes?

For someone else studying mathematics, do you think finance is a career worth looking into?
The graduate scheme has people from different disciplines and its quite refreshing to see us breaking the stereotypical 'banking background' approach to hiring.
Maths would definitely be beneficial in Finance, there's a lot of data analysis and number crunching, so I'm assum…

What are the key points a candidate should showcase in a group exercise?
There are a range of tips for group exercises but from experience, I have found the following important to ensure you make a positive impression and have an impact:

How are non-traditional degrees perceived in banking? Would it be a disadvantage? If so, how do you combat this?
Thank you for all for your responses, they're very useful! I study Psychology and Business, so it is slightly linked on the Business side.

How can I gain knowledge and useful experiences without having worked within the banking or financial sector?
In terms of courses I could add alongside my CV during an application process, is there anything additional I could do that would be advantageous?
Note: I currently work as a Project Manager within the engineering industry with the aim of transferring to a Project Manager role at Lloyds.

Harrison - thanks for your question! Fantastic you are so keen to work in the finance/banking industry so early on. My recommendation would be to look at any GCSEs that could relate to the industry such as an AQA Economics GCSE, or GCSE Business Studies... Have a research on the internet and sp…

Do Lloyds provide Work Experience for Sixth Form Students?
Hello! I have a slightly different answer as I actually organised a work experience week for 20 students this summer. Lloyds Banking Group does offer work experiences, but it's down to the specific business areas to put together a schedule and host the students. I would therefore advise that if yo…

Is the critical reasoning test the same as a verbal reasoning test?
It is suggested to have clutter free study desk if you want to concentrate on the study without any issues. I am also going to start with the LSAT Prep so have been organizing my notes and the practice books. Have also decided to use maximum online resources for being more organized. Might go with…

I've been working with the bank for 4 years and had wondered about potentially changing career path slightly. Any ideas?
