Why did you choose the Lloyds graduate scheme and what does a typical day look like?
Additional information
To be more specific was it the values and culture of the firm that made you want to join Lloyds? Also what is the work life balance like at Lloyds? Thank you!

Hi Nehal, thanks for your message. I’d say the thing that attracted me to Lloyds the most is the focus on development within the grad scheme e.g 4 rotations around different business areas, the qualifications etc.. The culture also really attracted me to LBG - it is quite an open and really social atmosphere due to the people-first value as well. I find that there is also good work-life balance - there is no expectation to work beyond your hours.

Hi Nehal! I choose the Lloyds Graduate scheme for quite a few reasons. First, the culture within the company. Everyone I spoke to before joining had very positive things I say about the company - its various commitments to Net Zero, Diversity and Inclusion, having a healthy work/life balance. Second, the opportunities. Our graduate scheme has 3 rotations which means you get a really good grounding in the business area you apply to. For example, I get a customer, platform and relationship management placement over the course of 2 years. Thirdly, the people! The people at Lloyds are extremely welcoming and committed to your personal development. As a graduate, you are able to approach almost anyone across the group to learn more about what they do/their business area. I hope that helps!

Hi everyone,
I would like to know if the graduate schemes apply to both undergraduates and postgraduates

Thank you Amna and Anisha for your responses, they’ve been really insightful!
I’d also like to follow up with another question about when I’d hear back from Lloyds regarding the outcome of the job insight assessment and when assessment centres typically take place?
Thank you

Yes - both undergraduates and postgraduates can apply to the graduate scheme but undergraduates will need to have achieved a minimum 2:2 before the start date

Thanks for your question Nehal, about when you will hear back. Firstly, apologies if you have been waiting a while. We are currently reviewing all the responses to the Job Insight Assessment and we hope to get back to everyone within the next few week. Thanks you for your patience. How did you find completing the assessment?
