Rotation during the Graduate Programme Scheme

We are allocated our placements - this is done through emerging talent taking into account your previous experiences, what your strengths are, where your skills gaps are, and also your interests and where you want to develop your career.

Hi Lucky, while you might not be able to choose the exact teams you will be allocated to, you can definitely ask for the placements allocation based on the specific skills you want to develop.

I will also like to know if the rotations are done within the same location across different teams or at different locations?

In my graduate scheme, corporate banking & markets, the process is a bit different.

Around 3 months before your next placement is due to begin, you will receive a list of placements. You are then able to have coffee chats and network with the teams on that list to decide what your interests are.

You are then asked to submit a form with your top 3 preferences. The hiring manager for that placement is also asked to do the same for graduates. Emerging Talent will liaise with the teams to align graduates with their preferences, and also teams with their preferred graduates.
