Hi Jake, That depends on the value streams really and the work you are trying to do with it

Hi Jake, I believe that languages used vary from role to role and department. In my role, I use SQL, C#, Javascript and HTML/CSS :)

Thanks Bethany and Omkar. I have applied for the software engineering graduate scheme, but am coming from a few years in industry but not related to computer science. I know enough at the moment, but wanted to hone my skills as much as possible in relevant areas before the scheme starts (should my application be successful, of course)

Hello there. I've applied for the software engineering program in Nov., but I did data analytics actually. I noticed that the program is called the software engineering and data science graduate now. Does it mean the two programs are combined? What should I do if I'd like to transfer to the data science program?

That's brilliant advice thank you. I want to learn as much as is possible before September next year, so I will look into everything you have both mentioned. Obviously I have heard of most of it, but I don't have an in depth knowledge of each - the ability to learn from a fairly basic starting point was one of the things that attracted me to the scheme in the first place

I personally have a maths background and still secured the placement scheme. The most important thing is to show enthusiasm to learn
