My MSc course includes a summer placement, am I able to write my dissertation at the same time as the grad scheme?

Hi Kieran, You should be able to work on your personal projects in your off time. So you can dedicate your weekends or after work hours to writing your dissertation.

Brilliant, thanks for the answer. My dissertation is supposed to be related to a work based project, I.e. a task that has been assigned to me, is this possible at all? For example, would it be possible that LBG assigns a research project to me, that I could write my dissertation on?

That can depend on the team you are working on and the confidentiality of it. Since it could have some data or information that cannot be public, it might put restriction on what you could write in your dissertation.
