Hey Venkata, Thank you for your question. Lloyds Banking Group has set a target of having 50% of senior roles held by women by 2025. To achieve this goal, the organization has partnered with several organizations dedicated to promoting gender diversity in banking and finance, including Women in Data, Women in Banking and Finance, and Women on Boards. These partnerships offer free memberships to these organizations and the opportunity to attend events or get involved with any activities they are running. There are also several well-established employee networks, including Women Connectech, which focuses on bringing together and growing the community of women in technology at LBG. Women Connectech hosts events, organises workshops and training, and provides opportunities for technical mentors and mentees to meet. We also have the Breakthrough network, which is the Group’s women’s network and their aim is to champion diversity in the workplace to create a truly gender-inclusive environment. Breakthrough work on providing a platform for colleagues to connect, share experiences, and learn from one another. They also organise events and activities throughout the year, such as panel discussions, workshops, and networking events. In addition to these initiatives, Lloyds Banking Group offers many varied learning opportunities, including finding a mentor, shadowing other teams, and attending courses and workshops. I’m attending a Fun with SQL workshop despite not needing SQL for my role because I thought it would be a good thing to do for my personal development. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions or if there’s anything else I can help you with.
