How can I enhance my technical skills and business awareness to prepare for the interview?

My best advice would be for business awareness: look at what Lloyds Banking Group does and what its main goals and values are. Also try to stay updated on general economic trends and wider financial news. Regarding technical skills, depending on the scheme these will vary, however a broad knowledge of Microsoft Excel ,Power BI/ Tableu and other data analysis skills are useful throughout the bank. Most importantly though just be yourself and don't be afraid to ask questions as fundamentally that's what LBG is looking for.

For the commercial awareness: you can also have a look at Lloyds Banking Group annual reports. We actually have three separate ones: Annual report, Environmental sustainability report and social sustainability one. Depending on what you are interested in, you can find the updates and information of what the bank is doing in many different areas. Secondly, stay up to date with the business news: here I would recommend sources such as Financial Times, The Economist etc.
