Definitely! For most schemes you will be given the opportunity to do a professional qualification and you are encouraged to learn while working :)

There are also plenty of mentorship schemes and buddy schemes upon joining LBG. Personally, I’ve found the network around me at Lloyds super beneficial for both professional and individual growth

That's really reassuring thank you for the insight. The buddy scheme is something so far i have found unique to LBG. Could you tell me more about the process of pairing a mentor/buddy to a new employee and how this works?

You are paired randomly with two separate buddies, someone in a similar line of work who is quite experienced and also a graduate in the year above so you can get that insight too and ask questions if needed

There’s also a monthly buddy up and chat where you can sign up to be paired to a new person monthly in a different division to you, and you’re encouraged to both reach out and have a conversation :)

Thank you for the response. It's comforting as a potential employee to know there are support systems in place to make a new working environment less daunting. Thanks again!
