In my opinion, LBG stood out to me due to the amazing benefits they offered. I’m on the business and commercial banking graduate scheme and I love how we can do four rotations in different areas. This has really given me a huge breadth of knowledge. Lloyds also supports you pursuing a professional qualification and fully funds it. At the moment you are only required to be 2 days in the office which is an excellent flexible working benefit too! And so much more…

Thank you for the response. One more question, due to the hybrid way of working you mentioned, how easy it is to integrate into the company in a social aspect? Despite working from home and being in the office only two days, is it still fairly easy to get to know other employees?

Hi Shona, the 2 office days are a minimum requirement but you are very welcome to go in on other days too. We have an amazing Workplace Atmosphere team who run events and organise networking - you can sign up for as many or as little as you like!

In my opinion it works very well! Each team will have specific anchor days so you will definitely see your team on those days. I really like working from the office as I find myself to be more productive and even if my team isn’t in I have made friends with all the people in the area so you still have people to interact with you. Also the graduates will have different anchor days so you can see them on those days too!

Thank you for the insight. LBG definitely sounds like a positive working environment and seems to prioritise supporting their colleagues throughout their career. It is nice to know too that there is plenty of opportunity to really get to know your team, it makes working on projects together alot easier. Thanks again!

Absolutely! Collaborating will be present in every team you join and you’d be surprised how effectively it can work online too :)
