What characteristics are you looking for in a successful candidate?

Hiya! Having recently gone through the recruitment process I would say most importantly being yourself and bringing your own individual skillset and strengths during the process (this will also help you stand out in the process).Outside of this I would say general characteristics: being eager to learn as that is really important as a graduate here at LBG, someone who is adaptable and resilient and can reflect on previous experiences and change if need be and someone with good communication skills too!

Lloyds are always looking for candidates who are agile and excited by change. The organisation is in a period of transformation and so would really benefit from someone who was able to adapt quickly to new challenges.

The number one characteristic I would say LBG are looking for in a successful candidate is an appetite to learn and develop. Any way of articulating how you have developed/taken extra opportunities to learn in a previous job role/educational background is key.

Love what everyones added here spot on, I’d say being curious and innovative goes a long way as well, they’re looking for healthy change and fresh ideas so definitely be bold and curious and use your experience to help drive change !
