Hi, having a computer science degree isn't essential for the tech and data schemes (I did chemistry). It is important to showcase your soft skills as much as your hard skills such as teamwork/collaboration, commitment to learning and growth, leadership and independence.
If you have also gone out of your way to teach yourself certain skills e.g. if you have done extra modules, or just done independent research like on codecademy on things then that is also good to showcase.

Hi, I would definitely first just say be yourself and recognise the strengths and skills you already posses that can be transferred to a role within Tech! I didn’t come from a Tech background myself and found that Lloyds, although valued, isn’t a be all end all quality to have! Definitely show your interest in data science and emerging technologies in any way you can and remember, be yourself!

As someone that comes from a non-tech background, should i be preparing for a technical part in the assessment centre and what would you advise to do?

It is definitely worth going over fundamentals but please don’t stress, the assessment centre is there to showcase your abilities and problem solving skills and you don’t have to be an expert at everything!
