There are a lot of programmes to help diversify tech! There are women in tech initiatives to help women pivot to tech as well as grow in their tech career from a junior to lead level

There are many groups you can join and be part of once you join the bank, you don’t have to be on a particular scheme! Anyone is welcome!

Also from a recruitment perspective we moinitor the effect of our tests on different diverse groups and amend them year on year where adverse impact is found. This is to ensure that year on year we support candidates from diverse groups.

If you are interested in the graduate schemes, the application process gives you lots of scope to demonstrate your skills and how passionate you are about them, through exercises and questions. The best strategy is to articulate not only what you've done, but what you're good at and what you enjoy, as Lloyds is looking for skills but they are also looking for people who are passionate and willing to learn :)

Alongside this, it's important to demonstrate your ability to communicate, work in a group, and your willingness to grow! Looking up the Lloyds values can give you a good idea of some of the benchmarks Lloyds measures candidates against
