Industrial Placement Risk • Stress Testing and Impairment Modelling

I think more than anything it tells you if you want to work in that field or not.

I've certainly found the benefits and flexibility of working at Lloyds to be great but I've found my self drawn to more of the economics side than the data analysis side so that in it's self has been an interesting insight.

For me this placement has really opened my eyes on the pathway I may want to take in the future. For example, my degree is very niche and very much focused down on one route but being on placement has shown me there's many other interesting routes you can take where you can use the skills from your degree in that field so I think for me it's important to not limit your options and be open for what the future holds.

Data and Analytics Placement

Hello, the short answer is yes! As for why, it's becuase as we are on a placement we have a whole year of picking up and learning skills that are vital to our future career but also within the field that you do your placement. Moreover, you'll also pick up loads of soft skills and technical skills which are transferable to other pathways should you figure out that the one you currently are on isn't for you.

I would love to continue working at Lloyds as I met very supportive team and learnt a lot. I also like the culture at Lloyds - we are always encouraged to share our thoughts and ideas!
