I study economics at university. I enjoyed the data related modules the most so I gravitated towards placement applications that revolved around data. I also think that data and analytics is such an exciting industry to apply to :) I applied online on the LBG website and went through the application process!

Hi Felicity, does a student's CV have many experiences in order to be considered?

what stood out about LBG to other companies you looked at?

No! The LBG process is hollistic and is more strength based ( from performance in the interactive assessments and other stages on the process). However, this being said - of course experiences are great to bring up in interviews as evidence of your skillset but you will not be disadvantaged from not having previous work experience. You can demonstrate your motivation through soft skills developed through other experiences such as sport, university modules, extra curricular activities and more... So to answer your question you will be considered with or without experience :)
I really liked how diverse the placement is here. There are so many opportunities to work in different projects and learn loads of skills. The support is also fantastic here and your development is of upmost importance to your team - they want you to make the most of your placement and learn as much as possible!

Hi there, for the potential questions - The questions will be strength based as we want candidates to think about a time where they've enjoyed specific task or activities.

Hi! For preparation, i didn't do much to be honest. The online assessments are idiosyncratic and in my experience the online tests were situational and how you approach problems at work etc so not a lot of preparation was needed. There were also some problem solving questions so have a pen and paper at hand for working out :) Read the full description for the assessments included the email containing the assessments and follow the instructions. Good luck!

Operation Manager - Emerging Talent
The process involves a number of stages including an application form, an online test, a Job Insight Assessment which is also online but involves use of video to film yourself, and as assessment centre which could be virtual or in person depending on the scheme you apply for.
