What is the purpose of the video response sections in the initial assessment? How are they a useful tool to assess a candidate?

Having the passion for a role is a key element we look for when assessing candidates. To make your application stand out at Lloyds Banking Group, research the business area you're applying for and review the company website. Show genuine enthusiasm and passion for what Lloyds does, and communicate how this aligns with their purpose during your assessment. Demonstrate a deep understanding of the bank's goals and values to ensure your answers are relevant. Be yourself, and let the assessors know why you believe Lloyds is the right fit for you. Also, you can bring in any experiences and skills you have had which you think are relevant, they don't need to be work related. This can be from other activities – whether it’s volunteering or playing in a sports team.

This is how we believe we can get the best from you as a candidate If you need extra support, let us know. We value diversity and recruit people based on their strengths and what they can bring to our Group, rather than their experience. We want our people to feel that they belong and can be their best, regardless of their background, identity or culture.
