Hi Ignacia,
Problem solving is obviously key in Regulatory Risk, the role requires you to understand rule book requirements, to interpret these to the business you work in and to determine if there are any areas of non-compliance (and if so what is the materiality and impact on the customer).
Stakeholder management is also key as you are required to engage stakeholders, build strong working relationships and gain their buy in and trust on the information and support you are providing them. You must be seen to be working with them as opposed to working against them! Communication skills are therefore essential.
Hope this helps.
Graham
