The two grad schemes seem similar in what work they do, is it therefore the just clients that are different? Or is the work they do different as well?

Hello!
Thank you for your message. You are correct that these two schemes are similar to a certain extent, but they also have some differences. For example, Business and Commercial Banking serves the financial needs of small and medium-sized businesses, while Corporate and Institutional Banking division serves the financial needs of large clients (generally more than £100m turnover). As a result and due to the nature of those business areas, the teams you might be based during the graduate programme will also differ. On the other hand, both programmes offer similar professional qualifications such as ACT, CFA, CIMA, or chartered banker diploma. If you have any further questions or would like to find out more, please let me know. I hope this helps!
Matthew
