Commercial Banking Graduate
Hi Evelina, I'm only a couple of months into the scheme but for me the most challenging aspect so far has been getting my head around what each different team's role is and how this fits together in the wider bank. The best part of the scheme is how open it is, in my first placement my line manager has asked me exactly what I wanted to get out of the placement so its really up to me as to what I get involved in.

I didn't come from a background in finance or economics so no. Its useful to keep up to date with any relevant news, etc, but there is a huge mix of degrees and backgrounds which is definitely seen as a positive
