Hi both, I've recently started on this graduate scheme. You complete three 6-month rotations across the commercial bank in coverage, product and risk teams, and then choose either a 6-month product or coverage placement as more of a specialised role for your final placement. What stood out the most for me is how open it is both in that it is rotational but also within the placement itself. This was really important for me as I dont come from a background in finance or banking at university so I was really keen to pick a scheme that was open and where I could learn about the broader aspects of the bank. For my first placement I'm able to decide what it is I want to explore more (whether this is pricing, the client engagement side, etc) so you can really structure it around your career interests and the teams are very supportive in helping with this.
