I want to apply for the Consumer Banking Graduate Scheme. What is the best way I can stand out throughout the process?
Additional information
I want to know how to stand out during the application process and what exactly is needed to make sure that I'm a candidate that's highly considered for this scheme. P.S.: How can I stand out during the critical analysis, final interview, individual exercise and group task sections during the AC?

Hey, thank you for your question.
It’s brilliant that you’re already thinking about how to stand out. Everyone has their own style and personality, and that’s exactly what the interviewers want to see shine through. Be yourself, be honest about your motivations, and let your strengths come through naturally.
Knowing the business well is key. Don’t just focus on Lloyds Banking Group as a whole - take your time to understand the different brands in the group and where the Consumer Banking Graduate Scheme fits. It sits between Consumer Lending and Consumer Relationships, so get familiar with the kinds of products and services offered in those areas and the kind of roles you could be doing.
During the assessment centre, think about how you can show depth in your answers and link back to the values. Whether it’s the critical analysis, interview, individual exercise or group task, show that you understand the business and can apply your thinking in a way that reflects the values of the group.
It’s not about being perfect , t’s about being thoughtful, curious and grounded. Use examples that show how you’ve lived the values, and don’t be afraid to bring your own perspective.
