Sustainable financial well-being insights

Hi Ella, thanks for your question. I am currently on the sustainable financial wellbeing grad scheme so I can offer you a bit of insight. The scheme is in our Insurance, Pensions and Investment division, so a lot of the work you’ll be doing will be looking at developing an understanding on the different needs of customers whether that is for protection needs or helping customers to plan ahead for the future with retirement and long term savings. You’ll also have the opportunity to work across different team and develop a real understanding on commercial and ESG strategy. Hope this answers your question 😊

Yes it does thank you very much. Can I ask what drew you to this scheme over others? And what had been a highlight for you?

Sure, I think the highlight for me was the customer placement. I am really passionate about financial wellbeing especially the education part, I believe it’s important for everyone to have a good understanding of their finances today and also plan ahead for the future so the place and this scheme was closely linked to that. But I know the other grads in my cohort also really enjoy the sustainability aspect of the scheme, so there are several placement that are linked the ESG strategy too, but it’s a scheme of endless opportunities to be honest, so if you’re unsure what you enjoy it’s also a great place to be and explore your options 😊
