Hi Rowena, thank you for your question! I don't quite have the exact percentages, however in my hub in Manchester we have 3 mature graduates, including myself, who all had some previous careers before joining Lloyds on the graduate scheme, so it is definitely not unheard of :)

Similarly unsure of the ratios but I'm also a mature graduate and know of at least one other in Bristol :)

There is also no set time frame from when you sgraduated, I have a grad in my team who has spent the last ten years as a high school teacher and has now opted for a new career :).

Abigail, does this mean it's actually okay to take a year or two out and then you can still apply? Some grad schemes only seem to let you have 1 year after study and then won't take you on?

I’m hoping to graduate next June and have already applied. I currently work for Lloyds. If I was successful I wouldn’t want to feel like an old lady!

Don't worry about feeling left out Rowena, there's a range of ages on the graduate scheme.

Laura, I joined the graduate scheme in September 2022 and I graduated in 2020. Some people on the scheme have completed a Masters worked after university and then started on the scheme

Hi both that's spot on, there is no timeframe for when you graduated :) we have a range of experience within our schemes. Age is definitely not a barrier

Hi Laura, yes that’s absolutely fine, please don’t worry. We don’t have a time limit from when you needed to have graduated. As everyone else has mentioned, we have graduates in the programme that are all different ages and graduated at different times, if nothing else this helps to bring a range of different, diverse perspectives!
