Hi Timothy, thank you for your question, in general there is a little less flexibility in using different frameworks and technologies on the frontend than on the backend and there is a good reason for this. The applications we are building, regardless if they are customer or colleague facing, need to have the same look and feel, that includes visual elements of our branding and helps creating a unified UX. For this reason we are using some internal frameworks and component libraries to build our frontends. On the positive side this makes development much quicker and means that other teams and developers can very easily support more junior colleagues because the patterns of different applications are fairly similar. That being said, if a unique functionality or business logic is required on the frontend, the specific team and developer still has autonomy to decide what's the best way to incorporate and build this.
