One thing I wish I knew is that in organizations the scale of LBG some things take time. Patience is one of the vital qualities one should have in order to utilize their time with the group in the best way possible. Generally, this could apply to many young individuals who are just starting their career, no matter the company.
Both the motivation and the excitement of undertaking a new journey makes you extremely eager to invest all your time, every second possible - creating value and just doing things. The reality is that occasionally this cannot happen due to factors out of your control. In such situations, you should stay calm and wait until you can continue with your work.
This is especially true with the remote work environment. You can easily lead yourself to a spiral of thinking that every moment should be occupied with activities related to work during work hours. This is not the case. First, you risk a burnout if you only work, work, work. Second, there are times where you should just step back and wait before you continue working and this is totally fine.
Generally, there are many things that would have been beneficial if I knew them prior to applying, but at the end of the day the purpose of those programs is to learn new things which you did not know before that.
