Hey,
There's a huge amount of scope for development in Lloyds. If you join on an Apprentice programme or Graduate scheme, there are professional qualifications that you will complete during your time on the programme which will be specific to the scheme you are on / Division you are in.
If you join as a permanent colleague, there's also a huge amount of learning opportunity. In Commercial Banking, I am regularly invited to learning and development sessions on different parts of the Division, as well as having sessions on more general topics such as resilience and sustainability. There is also a learning budget available for certain qualifications if there is rationale for the colleague to undertake them.
More generally, I have found that colleagues are more than willing to give up time to speak to people to teach them about different areas as well which will help development in terms of understanding what areas of the Bank you would want to work in during your career.
Matt J. gave a great answer to this same question and he is in a different division to me so this is worth a read: https://lloydsbankinggrouptalent.career-inspiration.com/app/discussions/view/148918/what-does-growth-and-development-look-like-here
