Hey Anastasia, Ive joined and been here for about two months now. Its been great so far. The main thing that I would say is that everyone has been super supportive particularly with all the stuff we needed when we started and helping us on our development journey. We are all spread out over different teams within group transformation for our first placement so there is a variety of exciting areas that we are all working on.

Thank you for your reply, Jithin! Is the allocation within teams rotational? So we can work on different topics, frameworks and so?

Yepp, so within the software engineering scheme we are on three rotations of 8 months each, and within each one you'll get experience in a different area of work and as you said, experience with different frameworks aswell. Within each team there is also some amount of flexibility in working on tasks that suit your skillset and on what you want to learn.

Also, would there be any tips and tricks for the application process? Is there anything in particular i should be preparing in more depth (programming-wise) or is there something in particular the interviewers will be interested in?

Reflect on your strengths & how they are valuable to LBG, be open, honest, curious, & (as cheesy as it sounds) be yourself! LBG is looking for the right people to work with, not just someone that's an expert in one technology. You should show that you're approachable and keen to learn, and lots of other lovely 'softer' skills not only your technical ability

While having a good knowledge of the basics does help, and we've got people from all sorts of backgrounds both technical and non-technical in the scheme this year so your individual background doesn't matter that much. Generally what is important is that you convey your willingness to learn and that you're passionate about working in this field.
