It usually involves a lot of coding (no surprises there!) this could be upskilling in certain languages, adding features to apps, fixing bugs, etc. There are also daily calls with your team where everyone reports on how they are getting on with their work and if they need help. Some days there will be calls with multiple teams where you get to see what other people are working on across Lloyds. Every software engineer's day will look different so sorry if this is a bit vague but I hope you gained some insight from this :)

It depends on what team you are in. I am in the data and analytics team currently and I am spending most of my time learning about different data strategies and understanding how we can use public clouds for data. As a graduate, I am also enrolled in different trainings so some days I spend my time learning about new technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Furthermore, LBG is going through a massive transformation and they are incorporating new technologies in the business to remain competitive in the market so we get to learn about cutting edge technologies and attend Teams call with subject matter experts. In essence, there is no typical day in LBG as a software engineer graduate, and you are learning something new everyday.

Yes! We use an agile board on jira (and also use confluence for other types of documentation). We use lots of agile methodology like sprint boards, daily scrums, etc
