Hi Anastasia! When I applied, the Assessment Centre was online but this may change this year depending on COVID so take this with a pinch of salt :)
The day starts with a quick introduction to everyone there, it'll be a small group with a few grads from the scheme, a few managers from Lloyds and your applicants. We then spent the day doing a variety of strengths-based activities to assess whether you're a good fit for the role - I won't mention specifically what we did as it will likely change from assessment centre to assessment centre, but I can give some general tips. Make sure you have a good idea of the sorts of areas of interest you might have and some different projects you might have worked on in the past. Most of all, enjoy the day and don't forget to ask questions when you can to the current grads on the scheme!

Hi Max, thank you for your answer!
Also, what would the group-based activities look like? Would we have a certain coding task to finalise in a certain time?

Hi Max, will there be a session to test our coding skills during the assessment centre?

Hello, will the 1 2 1 interview on assessment day involve speaking to a person live or will it be recorded video responses?

James: You'll be speaking to a person live :)

Most of the questions that I would have asked at interview have already been asked at the forum. Would it look bad if I had no further questions to ask at interview or should I endeavor to ask questions (Even if it means using the same questions that I would have asked)?

Insightful questions can catch the assessor's eye and make you stand out, so even though it might be hard, try and think of a question no one else has asked :)

You could always ask the assessors what they like, or about their experiences - it gives you more insight and from a range of people.
