Finance Graduate
Hi James, i would say that the most successful graduates are always proactive and keen to make the most out of their scheme. While on my placements, i have tired to get involved in lots of activities outside of my day-to-day role. This has helped me to learn more about the bank and all of the different areas within it. I hope that helps?

Could you possibly elaborate a little? Sports teams, social clubs, community projects?

Finance Graduate
Sure Callum, i have tried to get involved in other work projects. I usually hear about lots of opportunities on Teams calls, by email, or i try to seek out my own opportunities. For instance, my old team wanted to educate our wider area on our role within the finance function. I asked if i could get involved in this initiative - i found this really rewarding and it helped to raise my profile within my area.
