Hi Matthew, not necessarily. Most teams for CB are based in London so it's very likely you'll have at least 2 rotations there. Coverage teams tend to be more regional so if you wanted at least one rotation outside of London, it's likely you'll be able to get one. Grads often are in Bristol for their coverage rotation if that helps.
But if you wanted to stay in London the entire time, from what I understand, this is possible. I know someone who has done this for family reasons but you should be able to do this simply down to your preferences too.

Thanks for that, what rotations have you done so far? And what challenges have you had to overcome in your role to date?

I'm on my product rotation currently, working within Client Products Payables & Receivables. I'm on the pricing team and our biggest project has been to reprice the entire P&R merchant acquiring book because of cost uplifts recently announced by Visa and Mastercard.

Key skills I've had to practice in my role to date include stakeholder management (gaining buy-in to pricing methodology particularly), data analysis (to generate new prices) and presentation skills. It has also been really interesting to understand some of the technology behind merchant acquiring.
