Hi, thank you for your question. I'm happy to share my experience with you.
Personally, I think the work-life balance in my role is great. I have flexibility and autonomy in how I manage my time and tasks, which is fantastic. Of course, there are deadlines and deliverables, but they are reasonable and achievable. There is also a lot of support from my colleagues and managers if I ever need help. I have found that there are many amazing opportunities for me to work on things that interest me within my team and outside it.
One of the best things about Lloyds Banking Group is that they support their employees to grow and develop their skills and interests beyond their core role. For example, I am part of the Graduate Working Party as a Feedback Manager and Events Rep for my area. I also volunteer on an ad-hoc basis with our Schools and Youths Volunteering team. So I can work in a way that allows me to get my main tasks done while also fitting in the 'side of desk' activities that I find fulfilling and make a positive impact.
Another thing that I like about working at Lloyds Banking Group is that they offer flexible working arrangements. I only need to come into the office twice a week minimum, though some people come in more. Once I've done my core hours, it's very rare that I need to work beyond them.
I hope this answers your question. If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask.
