I am interested in the Data Science/Analytics Grad scheme. Am I a good fit for the role?
Additional information
I have a 1st class degree and I am currently working as an analytical chemist for a pharmaceutical company. I do lots of daily analysis, but in a different field. However I have no knowledge in analysis related to this field or in coding . Is it still worth applying or is this a necessity?

Hi!
The grad schemes don't require too much existing experience, graduates join the scheme with a wide range of academic and professional backgrounds. The Data Science & Analytics Scheme starts out with a bootcamp to make sure everyone has the required knowledge and skills before beginning their placements. Having a growth mindset and being able to demonstrate transferrable skills are more important than having any particular kind of experience. That said, the application process may contain a coding assessment for Python and SQL so it would be a good idea to familiarise yourself with the fundamentals of those.
It sounds like you'd be a great fit!
