Lloyds has such a broad range of placements and business areas that you're almost certain to gain a large breadth of knowledge and skills. You also are supported in choosing and reaching out to a mentor (somebody within the business with who you can discuss career progression and how to develop skills which have helped them). Also I've been in the 6 weeks I've been a graduate the early careers team have set up so many events and professional development days: I've already had so many opportunities to meet present to and talk to so many senior leader within the bank, even the CEO, and it really does feel like they expect and want graduates to be future leaders within Lloyds Banking Group.
You are also assigned a Graduate Buddy with who you can ask questions and discuss what the scheme is like and gain an insight what different areas of the group are like.
From a professional qualification point of view depending on the graduate scheme you're on Lloyds provide access to a relevant qualification, for the sustainable consumer banking scheme this is a CIMA business management certificate but I know other schemes have access to CFA and ACCA qualifications too.
