  1. What opportunities (i.e., placements) are there for risk graduates at LBG? During the Risk Graduate Scheme at Lloyds Banking Group , you will complete four 6-month placements. These placements cover a wide range of areas, including:
    • Climate/ESG Risk: Assessing environmental, social, and governance risks.
    • Credit Risk: Working on mortgages, transport, financial institutions (FI), and more.
    • Market Risk: Analysing risks related to market fluctuations.
    • Financial Risk: Managing risks associated with any of our financial operations.
    • Financial Modelling: Developing and running our models to predict financial outcomes.
    • Conduct and Compliance: Ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
    • Platform Roles: Engaging with various technological and operational platforms.
    • Chief Risk Officer's Office: Gaining insights by working directly with the CRO, Steven Shelley
  2. What job grade do risk graduates likely roll off onto after completing the scheme? Most graduates roll off the scheme at Grade D, although some may progress to Grade E depending on their performance and the roles available
  3. Are you pigeon-holed to risk, or is there scope to work in different departments upon completion of the scheme? You are not pigeon-holed to risk. Upon completing the scheme, you have the flexibility to apply for roles in other departments. Many graduates choose to transition into areas such as finance, leveraging the skills and experience gained during the scheme.
